All-Ireland Boxing Champion

We could have a future Olympian on our hands here in St. Colmcille's. We have an Leinster and All-Ireland Champion in the Boy 1, 37kg category.

Cross Country

Congratulations to the boys from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class who participated in Cross Country on Friday March 22nd at Navan racecourse. The 4th Class boys came 3rd in their team event. The 6th Class boys came 1st in their team event. Each boy ran extremely well, despite the wet and windy conditions.

Spirit of the Match

One of our players got the Spirit of the Match Award from Cumann na mBunscoil for his contribution to the team's winning performance in the Division 1 final. He was presented with the award by Mickey Burke in Dunganny.

Champions (Again!!)

We were crowned Division 1 Football Champions for the second year in a row on Saturday 24th November. Well done to the team and their coaches Mr. Bird and Mr. Hannify. On the way to the final the team beat St. Oliver's, Trim, Kentstown, Cannistown and St. Paul's. In the final they beat Ratoath by 2 points in what was a very close game.

Cross Country

An U11 and U13 team travelled to Bellewstown on Wednesday, 14th Nov, for the Primary Schools' Cross Country Running. It was an amazing day with 1500 children taking part. Evan Petite Demange got 2nd place in the U11 race. Andrew Gormley also got 2nd in the U13 race with John Gormley a close 3rd place. The rest of the boys grouped really well with the U11 team finishing in 4th place and the U13 team in 2nd place.
